When you visit the elephants at the zoo, you are probably thinking more about the strong smell then the fact that the tusks that adorn their faces are at the center of a ivory smuggling trade that has a long and sordid history.

On May 1, 2011 President Barack Obama announced that Osama bin Laden, had been captured and killed. This brought out a wide range of emotion from around the world, and has raised important questions for your students to answer.

It is a known fact that alcohol makes you do stupid things but perhaps a young man took it too far. During a late-night binge, the young Connecticut native broke into a local high school and stole the keys to the facilities lawnmower.

When we think about racism, many different images come to mind. We have seen countless groups of people persecuted simply for who they are. In this group discussion we will focus on the Anti-Semitism our Jewish brothers and sisters endure.

Families have seen homes and businesses wiped out by storms that produced winds in excess of 200 miles per hour. The response of the men, women and children in the areas hit the hardest has been one of surprisingly unshakeable faith.
