Youth Ministry Lessons: The Christmas tree has long been a symbol of the Christmas holiday, but this year people around the country might be seeing less and less of the trimmed and decorated trees.

I give thanks for 10 things each day. There is so much that I am thankful for. As I lie in bed each morning, my mind instantly starts to run through all that I can say ‘thanks’ about. I know that I could spend all day listing the many things that spark my gratitude…

Keeping with the Thanksgiving holiday theme this week, here is a fun game that you can do with your youth ministry students. It’s a great game to get everybody thinking, and to bring everybody together as a team.

Let’s give thanks for the challenges that we have faced, overcome, and learned from! Let’s also focus your youth ministry students on the challenges that are ahead of them in the future, and encourage them to prepare now.

Youth Ministry Lessons: Many people claim to know scripture, but the truth is many still have trouble knowing exactly what’s in the Bible and what is more of a pithy saying that sounds biblical but really has no biblical merit whatsoever.

Youth Ministry Resources: When students at Suffolk University were given the green light to send a campus wide email blast asking for donations for troops overseas, they weren’t expecting the drama that ensued.

Youth Group Lessons: Who doesn’t love a good corn maze, right? Well we know of at least one family from Massachusetts. Their family day out took a disastrous turn when they found themselves lost in a autumn themed corn maze, which led to a call to 911!

Youth Ministry Lessons: As the recession continues, a pastor has decided to do something for the streams of new homeless men, women and families. Although helping the less fortunate is admirable to most, there are some that don’t like his efforts.
