Youth Ministry Lessons: It seems like the word “bully” is becoming commonplace in the vocabulary of children and teenagers as more and more youth are facing the problem, both physically and throughout cyberspace.

Hazing in high school used to be assumed. It used to be a rite of passage into a certain sports team or school club and the idea was simple: do something to initiate (a.k.a. humiliate) new inductees to make them earn their place on the team or the group.

Youth Group Lessons: Ask any parent the key to raising drug-free kids, things like love, close supervision and an awareness of faith would come up. While these are important, there is evidence that something even simpler is the key to keeping teens off drugs.

For inmates that are mentally ill, certain things about prison life can actually worsen their mental illness and reformers are calling for changes, specifically changes in regards to how mentally ill prisoners are punished with the prison itself.

Youth Ministry Lessons: Since the recession hit the United States, there have been few positives. In a recent study, however, they found several huge positives: one of which is parents are finally beginning to talk to their children about financial issues.
