Here is a great set of ice breaker questions for any meeting or get together you will have with your youth ministry students during this Christmas season. Start thinking about the best time of the year and share some memories!

Youth Ministry Resources: Just as no Christmas is complete without a tree, no Christmas party is complete without an ugly holiday sweater! And one stay-at-home mom has figured a way to capitalize on the concept.

Youth Group Lessons: The Christmas season more than any other time of year seems to foster a spirit of giving. For students in Chicago, they are giving back to their community in a rather unique way.

Youth Group Resources: It’s that time of year where Santa’s begin to fill department stores and malls as the Christmas season begins. Children flock from all over to sit on Santa’s lap and hand him their carefully planned Christmas list.

Youth Ministry Lessons: The Christmas tree has long been a symbol of the Christmas holiday, but this year people around the country might be seeing less and less of the trimmed and decorated trees.

I give thanks for 10 things each day. There is so much that I am thankful for. As I lie in bed each morning, my mind instantly starts to run through all that I can say ‘thanks’ about. I know that I could spend all day listing the many things that spark my gratitude…

Keeping with the Thanksgiving holiday theme this week, here is a fun game that you can do with your youth ministry students. It’s a great game to get everybody thinking, and to bring everybody together as a team.

Let’s give thanks for the challenges that we have faced, overcome, and learned from! Let’s also focus your youth ministry students on the challenges that are ahead of them in the future, and encourage them to prepare now.
