Celebrities dress provocatively, and fashions today leave little to the imagination. Even modern speech shows signs of being immodest. With all this, how can you instill modesty within your teenager?  Here are simple ideas to get started.

Here is a Handout to print out or e-mail and share with the parents of your students! There are three simple things to keep in mind when taking time to pray for your youth ministry students, and this handout is a great reminder of them!

Psalm 23 is one of the most well known passages of scriptures. It teaches us that God, is in control and has your best interest at heart. It reminds all believers that there is a God and He is the one who leads you and cares for you.

There are times when you may feel as if you are alone. It is not unlikely for a person to feel as if no one understands. Feelings like this can lead to feeling lonely and as if God really doesn’t care… you couldn’t be more wrong.

It is very important to memorize God’s words. Psalms 119:10-11 says “I see you with all of my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”

It is a song we hear often, and yet few of us know the history behind the lyrics. One thing you learn in music ministry is the importance of knowing the history and meaning of what you sing. Why not the same for those who sing from the pews?

Your youth ministry students might wonder if there is a right or a wrong way to study the Bible. There really are no rules to studying the Bible, but here are a few suggestions to help your students in their walk with the Lord.

Worry seems to be a major issue with many Christians and according to the Word, it should not even be a problem. We are told in Matthew that we are not to worry about tomorrow because it really does have its own set of troubles.
