During a campout with some students from the church, a youth pastor allowed a thirteen-year-old student to drive his SUV.  The young man crashed the SUV and was thrown out of the driver’s side door. The car then fell on top of the young man, eventually killing him.

Youth Lessons: Tim Tebow is on the top of his game. Love him or hate him, the kid’s got talent. He seems to be a natural athlete with a staunchly upright moral character. While he hasn’t made a huge deal about his virginity, the media has.

Youth Group Lessons: Perhaps no celebrity couple in the history of entertainment has been featured, blogged about, and discussed more than Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, or Brangelina as they have affectionately been called. .

Youth Ministry Lessons:  It was 4 a.m. at a Las Vegas venue and people were already lining up. The man they were waiting to see was Tim Tebow and the place they were waiting in line to view the already legendary football player was church.

Youth Ministry Resources: Linsanity. If you have yet to hear of this term then chances are you’ve been living in a bubble, somewhere outside the world of sports and popular culture. Recently, Linsanity was described as, “A state of euphoria”, and for good reason!

Youth Ministry Lessons: In the eyes of many young fans it would seem that Taylor Swift has it all. But in a recent interview Swift was painfully and hauntingly honest about the toll such a lifestyle has taken upon her young heart.

Youth Group Lessons: Just say the name “Justin Bieber” and chances are you will get a gamut of responses. Some LOVE him and some, well not so much. But an act of the young pop star is proving to get him in the good graces of everyone.

Youth Ministry Lessons: Tim Tebow. All you have to do is say his name among a group of football enthusiasts and the opinions will rise. People either love him or love to hate him. They respect him or they can’t stand him.
