Many of us are guilty of taking what we have been blessed with for granted. It’s easy to overlook all that we have, but it’s stories like this that will encourage your youth ministry to be grateful, and thinking about how to give back.

Youth Group Lessons: It would appear that humans aren’t the only species with a liking for alcohol. Recently a moose in Sweden was found hanging in an apple tree, drunk from the fermented apples he couldn’t stay away from.

Youth Ministry Lessons: Since the recession hit the United States, there have been few positives. In a recent study, however, they found several huge positives: one of which is parents are finally beginning to talk to their children about financial issues.

Youth Group Lessons: The athletic activities our students take part in are a way for them to stay fit and learn about teamwork. If you brainstorm about the most difficult sports, cheer-leading probably wouldn’t be on most people’s radar.

Youth Group Lessons: Mexico continues to be the main source of illegal drugs for the United States. The US Government is constantly on the lookout for illegal activity as they try to curb the spread of drugs from the border.

Youth Ministry Lessons: For the sake of our students and their growth, we need to open their eyes to different forms of expression and communication. Here is a quick story to share with your students on the power of spoken word.

Youth Ministry Lessons: It wasn’t too long ago that a young man or woman could get far in life with simply a high school degree, but now in the minds of most high school students a college degree is required for success.

Youth Group Lessons: Great teachers are leaving positions not because of troublesome students, but because of “helicopter parents” who refuse to believe their children could do wrong and are ready to swoop in when they do, to rescue them from any consequences.
