Youth Ministry Lessons: For many Christians the advances of modern medicine are embraced. Conversely, however, there is a vein of Christianity that shuns professional medical attention and chooses to operate strictly from a faith healing perspective.

Youth Ministry Lessons: Most use prayer in a positive manner, but others seek revenge and harm to those who have wronged God’s people through prayer. This as you can imagine,  leads to many questions for us Christians.

Youth Ministry Lessons: While many say that prayer inside of a school is unconstitutional, the line becomes gray when religious activities happen outside of the school yet still on its property.

Youth Ministry Lessons: When a recent Nascar race was about to begin , as usual, a local pastor stepped up to the microphone to give a blessing in what is traditionally a solemn prayer. One Pastor gave a twist to the traditional.

Youth Ministry Reflection: I pray to bring total healing to my body, mind, and soul. I like to feel complete and balanced. If I only heal parts of myself, I am not balanced. Praying helps bring balance to my life.

Is your routine so busy and full that it’s causing you stress and agitation? We’ve all heard of the health risks associated with too much stress, but how can you help your youth ministry reduce that stress and find peace?

Youth Ministry Reflection: Prayer is my way of getting my inner self into focus. When I feel myself getting overwhelmed by responsibilities, I am able to pray as a way to clear my mind and organize my thoughts.

Youth Ministry Reflection: When I pray, I relinquish control of my life to my Creator. I surrender my will and desires because I know that my plans for my life are miniscule compared to the plans my Creator has set out for me.
