California prisons are overcrowded with 140,000 inmates. State officials have admitted that the state’s prison conditions are in a state of emergency. Is there any solution? What are the rights of the inmates living in the overcrowded prisons?

Harold Camping claimed those who believed in Jesus Christ would be raptured to heaven on May 21, leaving those behind to face trial of an angry God. Unfortunately for Camping, May 21st came and went without his prophesy coming to pass.

A recent passenger on Southwest Airlines, was told by the airline that she was too big to fly and was denied a seat on the plane. The passenger said that she had never experienced such blatant discrimination in all of her travels.

Don Gorske of Fond Du Lac, WI, recently ate his 25,000th Big Mac. His local McDonald’s honored him with a ceremony! He’s been in the Guinness Book of World Records since he reached 2,000 Big Mac’s, and he isn’t going to stop any time soon!

Youth Ministry Reflection: I pray to bring total healing to my body, mind, and soul. I like to feel complete and balanced. If I only heal parts of myself, I am not balanced. Praying helps bring balance to my life.

Sex can be a difficult topic to touch on with our students. But sex is constantly in our student’s faces, and the recent scandal surrounding Arnold  Schwarzenegger has brought the sanctity of marriage and monogamy to the forefront.

In recent months gas prices around the US have skyrocketed, reaching record highs for many cities. But one gas station figured out a way to bring in a ton of happy customers! Too bad it was a mistake and a real big problem!

A mother, has come under fire for giving her 8-year-old daughter Botox injections to help increase her chances of winning beauty pageants. In addition to the Botox, she regularly gives her daughter numerous beauty treatments.
