According to a new study by PEW, Americans don’t know squat about religion.
When most think of The United States, a Christian foundation is often pointed out. But the study shows that most Americans can’t even score a 50% on a fairly basic quiz.
The Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life held a 32-question quiz. The study polled more than 3,400 Americans to gain insight into the country’s religious knowledge.
The biggest surprise for me was that atheists and agnostics scored higher than Evangelicals or Catholics!
But, a bright spot for me was reading that “People who were members of religious youth groups also did well”.
Only eight of the 3,412 survey respondents got all 32 questions right. How will you do?
