Youth Ministry Lessons: “Prophet” is not a title that many would claim in developed countries, yet in many areas of the world, prophets are alive and well, and making a rather good living off of their soothsaying.

Youth Group Lessons: In a recent study looking at teenage girls and boys from vulnerable backgrounds, the results showed one thing: emotional and sexual abuse is so common that those abused don’t even consider it a crime.

Youth Ministry Resources: It’s a story that has shocked parents, educators and students all around the nation. It is the story of a teacher that abused his position as an elementary school teacher to force hundreds of students into inappropriate sexual activity.

Youth Group Lessons: South Korea is known for its competitive environment. When children are young they are enrolled in tutoring classes, prepping for college entrance exams from childhood. And the stress of this can be too much for some.



Youth Ministry Group Discussion: What do you think the church’s role should be in caring for the poor? Should we simply rely on organizations such as Goodwill or should the church be actively supporting those who need help?



Youth Resources:In the 1960’s schools battled on jeans, in the 70’s arguments arose bell-bottoms in the classroom, the 80’s saw the rise of students wearing fishnet stockings and fingerless gloves, now it’s all about comfort.



Keeping with the Thanksgiving holiday theme this week, here is a fun game that you can do with your youth ministry students. It’s a great game to get everybody thinking, and to bring everybody together as a team.



Let’s give thanks for the challenges that we have faced, overcome, and learned from! Let’s also focus your youth ministry students on the challenges that are ahead of them in the future, and encourage them to prepare now.
