Here is a great handout to use with your youth ministry during this time of year in the Thanksgiving Day spirit. Your students can share what they are thankful for and also have  a great discussion about the answers everyone gave!

Let’s give thanks for the challenges that we have faced, overcome, and learned from! Let’s also focus your youth ministry students on the challenges that are ahead of them in the future, and encourage them to prepare now.

I give thanks daily for my focus in life. I am confident in my ability to achieve my goals. Each day, I live with presence and conviction and, therefore, make good on my dreams. For this, I am intensely grateful. I know that I can have what I want!…

Youth Ministry Lessons: Over 70% of American adults drink, so it’s not surprising that many teenagers have seen their parents drink alcohol. And now in a recent study, the effects of parent drinking on teen responsibility has been examined.

Youth Ministry Lessons: Many people claim to know scripture, but the truth is many still have trouble knowing exactly what’s in the Bible and what is more of a pithy saying that sounds biblical but really has no biblical merit whatsoever.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner , and it is a time of the year when we come together as friends and family to celebrate what we have in our lives. God blessed us with so much to be thankful for, even our mistakes!

Youth Group Lessons: Throughout the years there have been dangerous games that teenagers play for a momentary high that can actually lead to serious brain damage and, in extreme cases, even death.

Hazing in high school used to be assumed. It used to be a rite of passage into a certain sports team or school club and the idea was simple: do something to initiate (a.k.a. humiliate) new inductees to make them earn their place on the team or the group.
